Breathe(ing) in the NYC Fringe Festival

Hey there!

I wanted to let you know about the latest project I'm working on. It's a new play called BREATHE by Tim MacMillan and it's running as part of the NYC FRINGE FESTIVAL, which produces new works in limited runs to showcase productions for publication and perhaps for a chance to be a forthcoming production in a company's future season.

A little bit of info about the show and it's purpose is below. Only FIVE performances, with a possible six if they all sell out. Tickets are available for $15 at www.FringeNYC.org or call 866-468-7619.

Breathe... Jill grows up in a dysfunctional home and becomes afflicted with Lupus. Now she faces a make-or-break moment. To summon strength - she looks back for new answers. A survival story that speaks to everyone who has or is facing critical choices. It's a life affirming hour and 20 mins!!

Aim High Productions was started in 2003 by Jill Nicole Kuirsky to bring theatre and awareness about Lupus to the community. Aim High Productions have raised thousand of dollars for people living with this disease. See Breathe.. will continue to support people with this disease. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, which means that the body's natural defense system (immune system) attacks its own tissues instead of attacking foreign substances like bacteria and viruses. This causes inflammation. Inflammation causes swelling, pain, and tissue damage throughout the body. If you develop severe lupus, you may have problems with your kidneys, heart, lungs, nervous system, or blood cells.
